Billy Corgan
Good Friday y'all...

Just wanted to take a moment to say hello to everyone, wishing you well from here to there. Still working hard on getting these darn songs together. This past week has been trying to take the best one's and get them ready to record, which means some kind of realized arrangement and lyrics, which requires some teeth pulling and self-flaggelation to get me to say anything at all. Whatever happened to me during that poetry tour of 2004 has made it quite difficult for me to open up the channel to speak freely. Working on it.

I recently got to visit C Love in the studio and she looked and sounded great, as she is still working hard to complete her album. Also got to go to game 7 of the Lakers-Rockets series. I even went to see Star Trek which I thought was quite good. So you see, even I go outside sometimes. I am thinking quite hard of writing a book, had a meeting about it. Still looking for the right guidance on what I'm trying to really say. Again, refer back to 2004 for the root of where the obstacle comes from.

As I said recently, I am still on target for putting out new music in October. There certainly is no shortage of ideas to choose from. And I think I have my drummer of the future. I've worked with him so far for one week and all indications are really good that he's the man for the job. Going to work with him some more before it becomes official. Whoever takes the job has quite big shoes to fill, no doubt about it. I see Jeff every once in awhile as he's been busy with work. I hear there is a Lassie Foundation gig coming up I think this week so anybody in LA try to check out Jeff's band. Spoke to Ginger the other day about maybe getting together and playing. This I have to see because she is so tiny and all the reports I'm getting are that she is the cutest pregnant woman ever so I guess she'll be playing sitting down? I've never played with a pregnant woman before so I'm not sure how it all works. Guess I should have paid more attention in biology.

Keep those prayers coming, I need 'em...

God bless all the SP fans. Its a life of suffering, I know :)

Hello love, you are doing fantastically and you are exactly where you need to be at the moment. I found a invocation to light online the other day and felt that you and all who read this would benefit from this. All my love and support Billy, Namaste. Lisa Marie

Will always hang in there

If the world fell apart and all the buildings burned, but there was even just an iota of a glimmer of hope that you would gift another song.... I would hold onto that ledge for eternity.... patiently waiting

No I'm not crazy just a die hard SP fan..... okay a little crazy

Sending calm peaceful open vibes your way! Thanks for keeping up with the blog!!

Good to hear that you are still working on an album for October, I have had that bug lately to listen to something new.

I have been rotating bands lately, no one has had anything new come out. Spend a lot of time with Goldfrapp and even the newer AC/DC. As for the past week however I have been completely immersed into Pumpkin music anything.

I am going back to school to get a Graphic Design degree. I am in my into class and this last project was to make a box set. Of course I chose SP and the ideas were flowing.

But, my grandmother passed away two weeks ago so all my work came to a halt with tons of family in town and funeral preperations to make.

Long story short, this semester ends this week, and so the box set is due. I had 1 day to work on it (working on it now, but had to eat..so I came here while eating). I think it is coming out ok..but it is not going to be that uber idea I initially had...sorry to let you down (in that I am representing you to the class).

Keep the faith brother man. I look forward to your new album when it comes out.

Thirty three

can you tell me the real meaning behind this song? someone dedicated this song to me and there seems to be a lot of different takes on the true meaning. you can actually respond if you dont mind to my email michellz@gmail.com. thanks. i am totally confused at what this person is saying to me.

So, I mean, I don't know you or anything, but I'm hanging out alone while all my friends are at a show, but I just couldn't go to a show tonight; too many personal conflicts to deal with a crowd of people. But I'm here, at my house, listening to Pisces Iscariot, because I only have a tape player, and it happens to be the only tape I own that seems appropriate to listen to. I mean, I only own like four tapes, but the others are, like, Michael Jackson and some pseudo metal (and I wonder now, as I've wondered before, if "musicians" sit around and listen to their own productions as much as others listen to them, but as I've begun playing music myself, a friend suggested that he plays music that he wants to hear, and I read a Salinger short story in which one character describes to another character how he is an expert in reading and, so, should write what he would love to read.
(As a side note, I'm just noticing a message that says you are recording my Ip, but fortunately, (although it wouldn't really matter since I'm not threatening you or anything) I'm using a fake IP for which I have the knowledge from being poor and desperate at times.

Uh, mm. Yeah, the point, to which I'll go quickly now that a housemate is home to keep me company rather than this damn computer, is that - a meeting? in order to consider writing a book? it seems ridiculous and a dependency on which I would highly discourage. that's it

good luck

I am very happy to know that you are working on new songs and that SP will keep going. I'm a fan of you, since I had my sensitive moments as a adolescent in my hometown, in Brazil. Now I am a young man and recently moved to Chicago. It was those ironies of the destiny to move to your city - "the city by the lake". First because I never planned to live here although I always wanted to understand the environment that influenced you and the other fellows. I arrived in the city thinking: "which must be the place that inspired Billy most?". I wish I could know one day.
But I'm writing to say that I belive that we are all looking for inspiration in this world to create something beautiful and to share it in the end. I hope I can find it here, and you there - in California (is where you are, right?). So I wish to you all good luck, good vibrations and lots of inspiration. And you will find it all because you are a genuine artist. Hugs from Hermano

Dear William,

Whenever I listen to ROSE MARCH, I feel like I am some kind of celestial queen high on god-knows-what. That aside, I really enjoy reading your posts. I don't munch of them regularly, but when I do I read every word carefully and interestedly. Oh Billy, you are adorable!
