Jimmy's Love Letters .2
Greetings and salutations! Its been a hectic week for JC as we have been tracking drums non stop. Things are sounding fantastic. Tracking drums is a bit like going to another planet for four or five or nine minutes. We recently finished up working with Roy Thomas Baker, (Queen, The Cars!), Working with RTB was not only an honor, but also one of the best musical experiences we have ever had. We are currently working with Terry Date (Pantera, Soundgarden!) and that is going great as well. The universe has a way of letting you know that things are right by introducing people like RTB and Terry into the fold. It..s all part of one big cosmic journey, in so that everyone reading this is hitching their silver chord to the Great Pumpkin Space Train! Hope this helps clear some things up for you. Don't forget to cast your eyes skyward this weekend.... You may see a shooting star. Love JC

I too have been attached to that train for many years! I am greatly looking forward to the new music you all are producing! I know it wasn't announced as to whether or not you got James Iha and D'Arcy back, but you all rocked and I saw your final show in Chicago in 2000 - you all were amazing! I hope that the new music is as good as the classics you all have already produced. I CANT FRIGGIN WAIT!!!! HOLLA!

Keep it up!!!

What's up with the email trickery at billycorgan.com?

Hi Billy,
I met you after the show you played at Webster Hall in NYC last June, told you I really liked your LJ blog. You're a good writer and I'm glad to see you're blogging again. One thing I wanted to let you know - when I visited the billycorgan.com site, it asks you for your email address to join the mailing list. I thought it was the only way to gain access to the Pumpkins website,so I did. But then I realized after the fact that I had in fact just signed myself up for the Warner Records mailing list! Um, don't you think that's kind of shady? I wouldn't mind getting email regarding all things Pumpkinny, but not loads of spam from Warner Records about Madonna's latest cross-mounting et al. Sorry to bitch, but I really didn't like that too much, getting tricked into signing up for something I didn't expect. Did you even know it's set up to do that? Anyhow, aloha and out. I still added you as a friend just now. :)

this is a fan-LJ. some kind soul copies the myspace bullitins and pastes them here for those of us with a seething hatred for without a myspace. i highly and truly doubt billy actually reads these livejournal comments. you might have better luck going through the myspace, bu i pretty much doubt he reads those either.

yes. we had a chat with billy's manager and he OK'd archiving these blogs last year, as long as it's not done for profit, it's all good.

I've not received any spam at all. I think it's really a mailing list for the pumpkins/corgan, technology supported by warners. I've never even received any email about the pumpkins/corgan at all after signing up (a few times..), i don't think it's used so much. or is it?
